Woven belts for men are versatile and fashionable. They make a great golf belt and go well with khakis. These braided stretch belts come in many styles and colors. Many are made from elastic and have a laced or weaved pattern.

Twill tape or twilled tape is a flat herringbone twill-woven fabric tape or ribbon of cotton, linen, polyester, or wool. It may be used in sewing and tailoring to reinforce seams, make casings, bind edges, and make sturdy ties for closing garments (for example, on hospital gowns).

A drawstring is a string, cord, lace, or rope used to “draw” fabric or other material. The ends of the drawstring may be tied to hold it in place. Alternately, the drawstring may be kept drawn using a cord lock. Typically, the drawstring is loose when not being used, and tightened when needed during use.

They form efficient stitches without breaking or becoming distorted during the useful life of the product. Cotton thread is compatible with fabric made from yarn of plant origin, such as cotton and linen, and for rayon (made from a plant substance), because it has similar shrinkage characteristics. It is not suitable for most synthetics, which do not shrink, or for fabrics. Some sewing purists believe that you should use the same thread as the fabric, yarn content, so cotton thread should be used to sew cotton fabric. Cotton thread has very little ‘give’ and is weaker than other available threads, such as polyester.

A zipper, zip, fly, or zip fastener, formerly known as a clasp locker, is a commonly used device for binding the edges of an opening of fabric or other flexible material, such as on a garment or a bag. It is used in clothing, luggage and other bags, sporting goods, camping gear, and other items.

In modern clothing and fashion design, a button is a small fastener, now most commonly made of plastic, but also frequently made of metal, wood or seashell, which secures two pieces of fabric together. In archaeology, a button can be a significant artifact.
